This work is a tribute to a very nice experience that I have in my memory. "THE KISS" is a large format sculpture made of steel, finished with toasted matte red paint. it has 2.85 meters high, 4.34 meters long, 1.54 meters deep. It was specifically designed for the exterior of this building, located in my hometown, Quito, and designed by Safdie architects. Taking into account the transparency towards the ground floor of the building, the multiple views in its corner situation, and the contact with people letting them free to move around the sculpture, this artwork was installed flush with the pavement to promote contact with passers-by and optimize their conection with the city.
